SquaredRoots is an MVP operated by John Lee. This policy covers the SquaredRoots website, account service, and the SMS report program when launched.

Information we handle

We handle phone numbers, account identifiers, login verification requests, property addresses submitted for analysis, report and order records, support messages, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request logs and session data. When SMS ordering launches, this will also include message content, delivery status, and consent and opt-out records. Property reports can include property and ownership information obtained from data providers.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, process requested property analysis, deliver reports, maintain report history, respond to support requests, prevent duplicate orders, and protect the service. Paid checkout is not enabled, and this MVP does not currently collect payment-card details.

Service providers and disclosures

We use providers such as Render for hosting, Supabase for account and database services, and Twilio for phone verification and planned messaging. Property analysis may use mapping, imagery, property-data, weather, and AI providers. We share information needed for those services, such as a phone number to deliver a code or a property address to retrieve property data. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

We do not sell personal information or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared for unrelated third-party use; they may be processed by service providers solely to operate the messaging service.

Storage and security

We retain account, report, support, and operational records as needed to provide the service, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. Opt-out records may be retained to honor your messaging choice. Preproduction report data may be reset during testing. We use access controls and encrypted connections; no service can guarantee absolute security.

Browser storage and report links

The application uses browser session storage for sign-in and a cookie for private staging access. Shared report links can be opened by people who receive them, subject to access restrictions and expiration. Share links only with intended recipients.

Your choices and requests

Contact johnleecd@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may verify your identity before acting. Once SMS ordering launches, reply STOP to end program messages. The service is intended for adults using it for business purposes.
