Terms of Service

These terms govern use of SquaredRoots, an MVP operated by John Lee, for business property research. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

MVP availability

The platform is in private testing. Features may change, become unavailable, or be reset, including saved test reports. SMS report ordering and paid purchases are not yet enabled. No purchase is authorized merely by signing in or agreeing to receive messages.

Accounts and permitted use

Use a phone number you control and protect your sign-in codes and report links. You must be at least 18 and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another user, submit malicious content, or use the service for unsolicited messaging.

Reports and limitations

Reports use available imagery, automated analysis, and third-party records. Imagery and records may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate. Measurements are supplied only when the analysis meets our confidence requirements, but this does not guarantee accuracy. Verify dimensions and conditions through appropriate inspection before estimating, ordering materials, contracting, or making insurance decisions. A report is not an engineering assessment, survey, inspection, or guarantee of damage or coverage.

Pricing and orders

When ordering becomes available, the service will state the report price and included information before approval. Pricing is per property report with no subscription tiers. An intelligence-only report excludes roof measurements. Reopening an already-owned report for the same account and matched property should not create another charge. If a report fails to arrive or a charge appears incorrect, contact support for investigation and an appropriate remedy. Nothing here limits applicable consumer rights.

SMS program terms

Text START to (888) 478-9020 to request enrollment in SquaredRoots property-report messages, including address confirmations, order updates, report links, and support replies. Message frequency varies based on your requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing a report.

Enrollment will require a confirmation reply. The program covers requested property reports and related service communications, not unsolicited marketing. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery and availability are not guaranteed. See SMS enrollment details. For support, contact johnleecd@gmail.com.

Service changes and responsibility

We may suspend misuse or change the service and will post revised terms here. The MVP is provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or report completeness, to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
